Andrew Z. Nerness, DDS MSD

Dr. Andrew Nerness was raised in the southwestern town of Windom, MN.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD in 2005.  He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2011. After graduation from dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis, MN in 2012. In 2014, Dr. Nerness received his Certificate in Endodontics and Master's Degree in Dentistry with a Minor in Oral Pathology from Indiana University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Nerness is experienced in complex endodontic procedures using modern equipment such as surgical microscopes, microsurgical instruments, and digital CBCT radiography. He has also taught continuing education courses at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Nerness is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and Saint Paul District Dental Society.

Dr. Nerness has volunteered dental services locally through Children's Dental Services, Union Gospel Mission, and Give Kids a Smile.  He has also served internationally to Brăila, Romania with Serving HIM Healthcare Missions. Dr. Nerness has also served as a delegate to the Minnesota Dental Association House of Delegates. Dr. Nerness and his wife enjoy spending time with family, writing music and singing, and serving in their church.
